I'll Blog my Oscar speech later

So the Irish Blog Awards were over a week ago and all is back to normal now again here. The Awards were amazing. I enjoyed them so much. Was delighted to see The Frog Blog win the Education/Science Award. That said I had a lovely thank you speech ready to accept the award so I'm going to bore you all to tears now with it!!

Thanks Gavin for making me start a blog to record Hibernia! 

Nice and short and sweet! And of course had I said it Gav would have killed me so I was all ready with my wicked one liner- I'll blog my Oscar Speech later. Never got to say it though!

The Education/Science Finalists 2011

Belfast is a great city, bit far away but well worth it. Although we were all saddened by the news that this year is the last IBA to be held (unless someone else takes over...(HINT HINT HINT) but as blogging isn't something I (or anyone else I know) do for awards I can't say that it will stop me rambling on here. I won't go on here as there's loads of blogs out there with far better posts about the awards last week I just wanted to do a quick scribble and say a massive
THANK YOU to everyone who takes the time to read Anseo and comment, everyone who went to the awards last week, everyone who tweets with me and most of all thanks to Gavin. Without whom there would be no Anseo A Mhuinteoir. Or likely there would be no muinteoir as Gavin was a tower of strength throughout Hibernia and continues to be my rock while I job hunt and sub!
